Role:
A comprehensive role which involves Range planning, assortment build up, Sales Analysis, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to optimize sales and business health for the category
- Revenue
- Margins
- Pricing & Promotions
- Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount, and Inventory related analysis
- Weekly and Monthly analysis and reporting
- Range, Assortment and Business Planning
- Assortment Planning – Data Analysis, Insights Generation, Options Planning (Width, Depth)
- OTB Planning and management at brand-category level, season planning
- Range level planning support – bets sizing, inventory planning
- Effective planning and forecasting to maximize profitability
- Competition & Market Analysis
- Trend forecasts, identify white spaces and implement sale plans
- Collaborative Partnership
- Liaising with all stakeholders including category, design, sourcing, and PD
- Coordinating with sales and marketing for the growth of category
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/NIFT/FDDI with 2-4 years of experience overall in fashion industry & retail business,
- Experience in apparel category on either brand or retail side will be preferred
- Experience / exposure to e-commerce will be an advantage
- Product expertise along with strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong with numbers and in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data
- Strong experience and skills in cross functional stakeholder management
