Manager - Buying & Merchandising


Responsible to manage business portfolio for the brands in ethnic wear segment in offline. Portfolioincludes ethnic wear for men and women as well as other categories like home.
A comprehensive role which involves all aspects of business – 
Analytics, financial planning, range planning and stakeholder management. Require strong analytical

Range Planning
- Assortment planning 
- Product range planning for the category
Responsible to optimize sales for the category 
- Revenue
- Margins
- Growth of categories
- Effectively planning inventory and forecasting to maximize profitability
-Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount, and Inventory related analysis
Option planning
OTB working along with the central planning team
Inventory Management
Planning for the inventory flow for entire category
Collaborative Partnership
- Liasoning with all stakeholders including planning, CDM and revenue teams
- Coordinating with sales and marketing for the growth of category


? 7-9 years of experience with category background.
? Strong analytical abilities
? Familiarity with category planning & management for relevant categories.

? Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement. 
? Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
? Strong excel skills
