Associate—Buying Accessories

Responsible to optimize sales for a group of products 

  • Daily tracking of sales – Plan vs Actuals and sharing the same with the team
  • Preparing the monthly sales plan and tracking the same on daily basis
  • Analysing margins & Discounts
  • Tracking and analysing the Growth of categories
  • Monitoring the visibility and coordinating with the receptive for promotional activity
  • Interacting with the brand & category teams for the visibility plan


  • Effectively planning and forecasting orders to maximize profitability
  • Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount, and Inventory related analysis
  • Tracking annual operating plan and Monthly plans
  • OTB working along with the central planning team

Range/Product performance analysis

  • Product/style level sales analysis 
  • Analysing the non-performance styles & taking correcting action with the team
  • Tracking sell through of the products

Inventory Management

  • Planning for the inventory flow for entire category
  • Collaborative Partnership
  • Liasoning with all the brands
  • Co-ordinating with brand team, sales, and marketing teams for the growth of category

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/NIFT with 4+ yrs experience in strategy, planning, finance, or related functional areas 
  • Strong communication and project management skills 
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in MS-Office is a must. 
  • Knowledge of BI tools/statistics 
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment 
  • Previous experience in retail, e-commerce added advantage
  • Worked in Accessories category would be good (preferably Watches & Wearables).
