Senior Manager - Buying (Womenswear - Sangriya )



  1. Building up the assortment plan and aligning the same with Planning Team
  2. To identify the trends and incorporate the learnings from the last season/ exiting trends to imbibe the same in the assortment plan at attributes and Article Type Level
  3. Breaking down the assortment in different bodies- core vs fashion
  4. Liaison between sourcing , design and seller partners to ensure the assortment execution as per GTM calendar/ defined timelines


  1. Work with planners and as per the sales to plan monthly stock requirement and inwards as per the defined inventory cover, sales and sell through and providing feedback for the same to the seller partners/ FFO category manager and hence  influence the buy
  2. Generate and analyse regular reports on Inventory, stock, ageing, inwards, sell through, Style Live status, DOH etc
  3. Regular management of Buy Plan
  4. Aligning with the central category team on the pushes and any requirements


  1. Monitoring sales at style level and article type level regularly- Monitoring Sell through, ROS, discounting and GM
  2. Visibility mapping and tracking. Planning out interventions with CDM and sales team
  3. Marketing communication planning (banners, e-mailers, Notifications ,other customer touchpoints) in coordination with CDM and category team


  1. Identification of repeats
  2. Regular placement of orders as per the ROS
  3. Tracking inwards and monitoring sales , GMand sell through
  4. SALES
  5. Monitor sales regularly, at Brand Level- Against AOP and GOLY ; at Article type level; age group level against all the metrics and plan for interventions with CDM and category team
  6. Managing Daily/weekly/monthly sales - monitoring & taking corrective action in case of any deviations
  7. Regular Monitoring of the performance against the AOP


  • Regular interaction with the VPL sellers- On the performance,
  • Highlighting to the concerned stakeholder in case of any ambiguities
  • Identification of gaps as per the trend, price point and creating the range
  • Develop new vendors wherever there is a gap arising

Understanding of Product, cost break down
Building up the assortment plan at category , mrp, cost ,attribute level, BM, GMAble to identify Trends and White Spacesable to manage the range with the understanding of category, age group and attribute requirement
Understanding of the OTB and able manage the same in the seasonal buy
To build process and maintain process- for sell through management, inventory management, Repeat vs Fashion
