Director - Brand Management ( Beauty & Personal Care)


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up and scaling the private brands business for personal care category – articulating the strategy, building capabilities across category management, sourcing, product development, quality assurance, merchandising / content etc.; launching brands across product categories of beauty and personal care.
  • Responsible for overall category P&L - revenue and bottom line achievement, and driving business outcomes
  • A comprehensive role which involves all aspects of business –
    • Category Strategy – Short term and mid-term
    • P&L – Planning & Management
    • Operating Plan Development – Revenue by product categories and brands, Annual and monthly plans
    • Category Management - Assortment & Range planning, Inventory Management
    • Sourcing Strategy – Vendor Strategy and Development, Product development, Quality Assurance strategy;
    • Sales Management
    • Content and marketing planning

Qualification & Experience:

  • Min experience of 8-10 years, personal care category domain (cosmetics, skin care, etc.) in brand management, product development, category management roles.
  • Experience in setting and scaling up brands / categories
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • E-commerce experience preferred
  • Strong experience and skills in cross functional stakeholder management
