Manager - Revenue Planning


Roles and Responsibilities:

At Myntra, Revenue Planning & Management is the central demand team responsible for overall estimation, forecasting & demand management at an organizational level to enable delivery of target sales and margins. Planning team plays pivotal role in helping various functions at Myntra organizing the business inputs to meet organizational goal.


  • Planning
    ? Draft Annual, Monthly, daily Revenue & other input metric plan for categories for BAU and event days with close coordination /  alignment with cross functional
    ? Coordinate with different teams for obtaining planning inputs in time & ensure plans are aligned / agreed with stakeholders before set timelines
    ? Ensure revenue planning at different segments to cover for category specific planning – Business unit wise, fulfilment type, article level, gender level etc
    ? Improve planning process: move towards planning automation through data science-based planning models, reduce lead time of planning cycle.
    ? Develop & implement strong reporting formats which give a 360-degree view of the health of the portfolio
  • Revenue Management
    ? Ensure revenue management on day to day basis with cross functional engagement to meet plan
    ? Monitor key metrics such as revenue per unit, gross margin, conversion, average item price value, customer acquisitions, etc. and take corrective actions
    ? Initiate regular problem-solving sessions during key events & BAU days and ensure execution of the actions through close coordination with different teams
    ? Managing high revenue days collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
    ? Conduct analysis within a larger project stream for understanding revenue and other metric trends & ensure necessary interventions to course-correct if required.
  • Growth
    ? Initiate and execute new avenues of revenue generation through new growth areas, promotions, properties, offers, etc.
    ? Analysing platform level metrics to isolate problems/strength areas to solve/leverage for better ROI
    ? Working with cross functional teams (brand, sourcing, technology) to drive bigger strategic projects and initiatives
  • ? Influence various teams/stakeholders within the organization to meet goals &project timelines

Qualifications & Experience:

An ideal candidate should possess sound analytical abilities, strong cross-functional collaboration and business acumen.   • B-Tech/MBA from tier-1 institute
  • 2-3 years’ experience in analytical domain, sales planning, pricing,
  • Strong Analytical Skills - Proficiency in SQL is must, R/Python knowledge would be highly preferred, Knowledge of BI tools/statistics added advantage
