Manager - Marketplace (Design)


About Team

Marketplace and Omni team’s mandate is to ensure marketplace and omni business, right input metrics are achieved, seller management and experience, business design, KAM and building store and seller ecosystem. MP is a central team working closely with category, SCM, revenue, planning to drive an important charter.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • The incumbent would be looking after the MP design framework which encompasses guardrails around MP onboarding, selection, model fitment and profitability
  • Anchor business critical projects by working closely with category management for improving selection (freshness, speed and uniqueness) across business units, Supply chain for making available selection at 1-Day/ 2-Day delivery speed, build alternate fulfillment models & solve seller pain points through the same
  • Spearhead right Marketplace policies for business growth reducing defects (fulfilment/ processing delays), ensuring quality, enabling SPF and delisting mechanisms


  • Furnish a business design document covering the right model fit (Flowchart depicting model selection)
  • An automated solution on model fitment basis seller inputs on processing capabilities, scale & technological prowess
  • Design & Execute Myntra’s Alternate Fulfilment Model charter solving for Business Case, Myntra’s Ratecard, Sellers Cost of doing business, Case for Regional Utilisation, Inventory Forecasting & Placement, Returns & SPF policy
  • Support Next Day Delivery charter for MP and Omni and ensure program success and achievement of deliverables
  • Ensuring Seamless Discounting Flow & Coupon Acceptance for Sellers

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience as a consultant, program manager or equivalent
  • MBA from a Tier 1/2 college
  • Strong project and program management ability and very good in analytics – Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, strong analytical skills
  • The incumbent should be well versed with e-commerce marketplace principles and guidelines and should string strong process orientation
  • Stakeholder management: Must be proficient in keeping things on an even keel with all stakeholders:
  • Category Management, SCM, MP Ops and Business Finance, manage relationships, resolve conflicts
  • Highly Action Oriented –Candidate should have strong bias for action. Individual will need to own projects from conceptualization to implementation

  • Knowledge of Python will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS-Office is a must.
